Jasmin Pannu is a multi-disciplinary artist who’s sold over 250 originals and prints worldwide, about marketing art. In this episode, I sat down with Jasmin to understand how she’s grown a business around art, that she started not too long ago. She discusses marketing and routines in-depth, specifically getting down into how books like Tim Ferriss’ 4 Hour Work Week helped her in boosting her business of art.
Who is Jasmin Pannu?
Jasmin is a multi-disciplinary artist with ~60 publicly displayed murals in the Toronto Area and 200 originals and prints sold worldwide from her original art series, ‘Wildlife Collection’ and ‘Cheat Codes.’
Just over a year ago, Jasmin left corporate marketing to pursue the arts full-time. Since then, her artworks that range from ink illustrations to canvas paintings, murals, and henna art, have appeared on CBC Arts, Breakfast Television, and featured by prevalent art authorities like Huffington Post Arts and Sharpie.
Jasmin has also had the prestigious honors of having her art exhibited at the likes of the Museum of Contemporary Art and the Royal Ontario Museum.
'A lot of times it’s not about your product or what you sell, but about who you are as an individual, and what you bring to the table.' - Jasmin Pannu quoting something @royspence wrote in his book. #art #business #artist Click To TweetWhy Should You Listen to Jasmin Pannu?

Think about this. Back in the early 2000s, a lot of creative business owners started using Myspace to showcase their work and also grow their businesses. Jim, was one of them.
But in just a few years, Facebook arrived and a lot of these businesses, including Jim, found themselves in a deserted place and had to literally start from scratch. Jim lost all his leads, customer contacts, and everything else he had going on, inside Myspace. This is bound to happen when you rent a place…like a social media platform, to grow your business and brand.
Here’s something I want you to consider. Take full control of your business and your brand. Bring your customers and leads to your own website. And you can do it all by yourself, without having to spend thousands of dollars on a web agency.
Thrive Membership by Thrive Themes can help you do just that. You can have your website, completely from scratch in just a few hours. Thrive Membership comes with a ton of readymade design templates, lets you collect email addresses and 11 powerful tools to build your business presence online. And for all of this, you pay just $19/month. Not a penny more. To learn more about Thrive Membership, go to designyourthinking.com/thrive.
